My role at the Medical Accident Group (part of Harrison Clark Rickerbys) was to provide a full digital, marketing and communications function within the department. My role consisted of copy writing, blogging and article creation, strategic social media management using Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn. I was also responsible for preparing detailed reports and presentations which I presented to the Partners and Senior Partners at monthly board meetings and I liaised with, managed and worked with an external PR agency.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Project managed and developed a new website for the Medical Accident Group to allow easier navigation and ease of locating key information about the Partners, introduced a media centre and news section of the site and revised all the copy to include relevant keywords for SEO purposes.

Introduced social media channels for PR purposes and increased reach and followers on both Twitter and Facebook through strategic plans.

Produced various PR materials including press packs and instigated a media centre on the website, marketing materials including brochures, flyers, adverts and client information packs, and advised designers and outside suppliers to produce first-class PR communications materials.
